Network Storage Outage Planned for Friday-Monday

From Information Resources and Technologies

From 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, until approximately 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16th, MyStorage will be unavailable while we install necessary upgrades and perform system maintenance. This work is being done by IRT to maximize systems performance and response for this critical resource before spring semester begins.

The following UST resources will be unavailable intermittently until late Monday afternoon:

* MyStorage (including WebDAV access to MyStorage)

The following UST resources will still be available:

* UST Network and Internet
* Wireless network on the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses
* Banner
* Phone services
* Web
* Departmental storage
* E-Mail
* Network printing
* Blackboard
* ReportNet
* Voicemail
* Library databases
* Card readers for laundry and vending

IRT recommends that you save a copy of your MyStorage documents to your hard drive or portable media by 4 p.m. Friday if you need to use or modify them over the weekend. IRT hopes that this scheduled outage will result in minimal, if any, inconvenience.
